Who would have thought Indiana had reptiles who needed rescued?
When Sheryl Mitchell was a mother and completing her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, she never would have guessed that she would one day be Bloomington’s very own Marlin Perkins. But, as Sheryl has certainly found out, life is full of surprises. Much like ASR reporter Gabrielle Reed’s surprise when she discovered that a Midwestern town had a dire need for a reptile rescue center.
While some people believe that the only good snake is a dead snake, Sheryl makes it her life’s mission to rescue abandoned reptiles in the area. This episode was reported and produced by Gabrielle Reed.
