Milwaukee, Wisc. is known for its eclectic neighborhoods, punk rock aesthetics and DIY spirit. In this episode of Local Nation, a group of seven ASR reporters headed north to check out Milwaukee’s music scene. We stopped by the Riverwest Public House, the second-only cooperatively owned bar in the country and home to one of Milwaukee’s most unique music venues, chatted with a local music expert from the Milwaukee Shepard Express, and visited the home of one of the town’s up-and-coming math rock acts for a Q&A and live session. This episode was hosted by Daniel Brown and produced by Kat Carlton.
